This woman advises mothers to go against all instincts. She also advises parents to do things that are actually considered dangerous e.g using stacks of blankets in the cot.She also never admits when she is wrong. She's a dangerous idiot. She claims to be an expert but nothing to back it up. She never even used her advised techniques with her own children. Avoid like the plague.I wouldn't even give it 1 star but Amazon won't let me give zero.
Horrific unethical book. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Should burn every copy ever printed. Who in their right mind tells parents it's okay to leave their baby crying til they vomit and how to change the sheets without interacting with the baby?!!!
Don't waste your money on this book. It offers cruel advice and goes against every parenting instinct. The Wonder Weeks is a much better option.
Best baby book I’ve read to get your baby to sleep all night!! My 10 week old boy was sleeping through the night, and still does 7 months later. She’s actually has don’t research by watching babies not just her opinion on babies. Her knowledge will save you many headaches and guessing what to do next. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here. I had no clue on what to do with our son and very grateful I found Tizzie’s book. It was at my side every step of each day. She had YouTube videos as well. Check out this international baby whisperer, you will not regret it.
I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of almost 4 and read this book in support of one of my daughters who was given this book. I was horrified! Nowhere could I find a reference to the author having had children herself which explains quite a lot. It is merely list after list of scheduled feeds and sleeps diverting from this on a few occasions to advertise her own products that are apparently the only products that will keep a baby safe. I just cannot believe that anyone would put their baby through these military like regimes.
The only book with a routine that worked for our daughter and again for our twin boys. All our kids have slept through the night from 8 weeks old, and so far our 4 year old daughter continues to go to bed at 7pm workout any fuss or complaint and wakes at 6:30am.I like how she give tips to get closer to the routine times rather than, "here's your routine Chum, just makes it work" anyone with kids knows you can't force them to sleep.
I felt like this book was too strict. Didn't work for me because I wanted a lot more baby snuggles, and I tried the schedule for awhile but my baby just wasn't interested in eating that often.
The feeding schedule in this book is so strict and it really just didn't work for us.
